About Vinarija Čoka
Established in 1903 by Count Artur Lederer, Vinarija Čoka is located in Subotica, northern Serbia. The winery boasts one of the largest and most beautiful underground wine cellars in the Balkans, constructed by Lederer himself. After World War II, it became state-owned and was privatized in 2001. Today, it operates as a modern enterprise, producing approximately six million liters of wine annually and exporting to markets including the USA, China, Germany, and Russia .
Vranac Wine
Vranac is a red grape variety originating from Montenegro and is widely cultivated in Serbia. Wines made from Vranac grapes are known for their deep ruby color, rich flavors, and robust character. Vinarija Čoka's Vranac wines exhibit these qualities, offering a full-bodied experience with notes of dark berries and subtle tannins. They pair well with red meats and aged cheeses and are best served at temperatures between 15–17°C .
